"We come from the same courts, the same corners—and now, we're building crowns."
Isaiah, known as Nez, is a proud Omaha native and co-founder of Young Black Kings (YBK). Raised in a city that taught him strength and spirit, his creative journey began in church with the group The Dreamers, where gospel harmonies sparked a lifelong love for music and storytelling.
He carries the name and legacy of his late father—a badge of honor that fuels his every move. Nez’s artistry is rooted in wisdom, clarity, and purpose, and his projects reflect growth, introspection, and a deep responsibility to uplift others. As both a lyricist and engineer, Nez uses music not just as a platform, but a pathway.
Off the mic, Nez puts in real work. He serves as a Security Guard for Omaha Sentinel Force, moves with Aspired Movers, and volunteers regularly with the Urban Survival Club, mentoring youth and investing in the community that raised him. His leadership doesn’t just live in his words—it shows up in his daily grind.
His sound speaks life. His crown honors legacy.
"I stay in motion. Even when it's silent, I'm building something."

He also devotes time to volunteering with Urban Survival Club, mentoring youth and investing in the next generation of community leaders.
J6 doesn’t need to speak loud to be heard—his art carries its own volume.
"My beats carry bass. My life carries the rest."

Tim, widely known as Shmurda, is the unfiltered voice of emotion within YBK—a founding member whose music pours straight from the soul. Raised in Omaha, he brings lived experience into every verse, writing from places of pain, love, and real-life lessons. His style hits hard, yet heals too, echoing stories that resonate far beyond the booth.
Whether he’s reflecting on heartbreak or lifting up those who feel unseen, Shmurda’s music feels intimate and urgent—delivering truth wrapped in rhythm. Every track he touches carries a pulse that speaks to both struggle and strength, proving that vulnerability and grit can coexist in art.
Off the mic, Tim works with purpose and pride as a mover at Omaha’s Finest, Aspired Movers, applying the same tenacity and dedication he brings to his craft. He’s a man in motion—physically, emotionally, creatively.
Shmurda's connection to his city is unshakable, and his art speaks with the urgency of someone who knows the stakes.
In a world that often silences feeling, Shmurda makes space for it—with bass, bravery, and bars that don’t flinch.
"I’ve been through both sides of the fire. Now I make music that speaks from the ashes."
Sinye, known as 2Xface, is YBK’s truth-teller—a fearless artist whose sound is shaped by struggle, pain, and life experience. His name reflects more than persona; it reflects perspective. He's lived in contrast—light and shadow, hope and hardship—and channels that duality into music that cuts deep and stays honest.
Raised in Lithonia GA, and Omaha, 2Xface crafts raw, reflective tracks that speak to people fighting through unseen wars. His voice is steady, his flow relentless, and his storytelling layered with survival and sincerity. Every verse is an act of release, every beat a mirror of what it takes to keep going when the odds feel stacked.
In the studio, he’s both unpredictable and intentional—bringing creative risks and emotional truths that push YBK’s artistry further. He reminds the crew, and the community, that greatness is often forged in chaos—and that kings rise even when they're scarred.
2Xface doesn’t just rap about pain. He transforms it. And with every track, he turns lived reality into musical redemption.
"I move heavy loads at work. I move heavy truths in music."
Tae, better known as Oneway, is a founding force in Young Black Kings (YBK)—respected by his crew for his quiet consistency and the weight he carries through every beat.
By day, Tae holds it down as a Security Guard for Omaha Sentinel Force, keeping watch over his community with quiet strength. He also grinds with Aspired Movers, putting in the kind of work that builds muscle, resilience, and pride. These roles aren’t just jobs—they’re proof that Tae shows up when it counts, without shortcuts or excuses. These are jobs that require strength, discipline, and reliability, all traits he brings into his music.
A founding member of Young Black Kings, Tae doesn’t write from concept—he writes from lived experience. His lyrics echo the streets, the struggle, and the lessons learned along the way. His delivery is honest, stripped down, and rooted in truth. Whether he’s recording verses late into the night or clocking in early in the morning, his path proves there’s no shortcut to excellence.
Focused, resilient, and deeply driven, Oneway lives up to his name—there’s only one direction he moves: forward.
"I don’t just manage— I nurture, protect, and build. Every move is legacy-driven."

"I’m usually quiet—but when it’s YBK, I show up loud."
Anaya, affectionately known as A2, is the youngest creative connected to Young Black Kings (YBK)—but her vision is anything but small. A recent high school graduate and an up-and-coming photographer, A2 is already capturing culture through the lens with intention and soul. She’s building her portfolio alongside YBK’s rising artistry, giving visual life to the movement with every snap.
Photography runs deep in her bloodline. Taught by her beloved Pawpaw, who gifted her first camera and planted the seed of storytelling through imagery, A2 creates with both love and legacy in mind. Her style is observational and emotional—she sees the details others miss, then turns them into something unforgettable.
Though she moves with quiet grace, A2 is fiercely expressive when it comes to her YBK family. Whether she’s behind the scenes documenting rehearsals, shooting cover art, or rallying support, she brings sharp creativity and unwavering support to everything the Kings do. Her love for music makes her a natural fit in this space—translating sound into sight, rhythm into visual rhythm.
A2 isn’t just a photographer—she’s a sister, a student of legacy, and a future artistic force. Her journey is just beginning, but her lens is already shaping the crown.
